For those who want an overnight stay in Norway’s most westerly town, Florø Rorbu has an interesting range of rooms and apartments.
On its idyllic site at Furuholmen marina in Krokane, just outside downtown Florø the Rorbu faces south, as seen in the panorama shot on top of this page.
This scenic view is a constant source of joy to our guests, especially during quayside
dinners. |

Florø Rorbu has its own slipway as well as a quay
for those who come in from the sea. Boats for hire are
available. |
 |
Among other reasons to pay us a visit we would like to mention that you can fish in the fjord or go for mountain walks before you go to sleep while listening to the gentle lapping of waves against the
quay.
After opening in 1995, Florø Rorbu has been expanded to its present 15
apartments. The over all impression of the place is that of a modern holiday resort with every
facility, but still conforming to Norwegian wharfside shed building
style. The latter point has been and remains a major
consideration. Not only because we want to preserve our traditional wharfside
culture, but because we know that our guests appreciate this touch of tradition as well as our proximity to the
sea. |
